As part of the ongoing development of the new Roberto Cavalli Operating organization, The Level Group is building a dedicated Operations team to support the brand's product lifecycle from product development through production and delivery.
We are looking for a talented Purchasing Specialist to join our team in Milan. This role will be responsible for managing purchasing activities across the production lifecycle, working closely with Product Development, Production, Planning and suppliers to ensure materials and finished products are sourced efficiently, delivered on time, and aligned with business objectives.
What you'll do:
Manage seasonal purchasing activities, ensuring timely procurement of materials and finished products according to production plans.
Coordinate daily with suppliers to monitor purchase orders, deliveries, lead times, and production schedules.
Collaborate with Product Development, Production, Merchandising and Planning teams to ensure purchasing activities support collection calendars and business priorities.
Monitor supplier performance, proactively identifying and resolving delivery or supply issues.
Support cost negotiations and purchasing optimization initiatives while maintaining required quality standards.
Ensure purchase orders, supplier information and procurement documentation are accurately maintained within ERP systems.
Analyze purchasing data and prepare reports to support operational and strategic decision-making.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of purchasing processes and supplier collaboration.
What we're looking for:
3+ years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement or Supply Chain roles within the fashion or luxury industry.
Previous experience in the fashion/luxury industry is mandatory.
Strong understanding of apparel production processes and supply chain dynamics.
Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
Fluency in both Italian and English is mandatory.
