C/C++ Software Developer

We are looking for a Software Developer with strong experience in developing modules for data parsing and conversion, with solid knowledge of C++ in both Microsoft and Linux environments, as well as modern development technologies. The selected candidate will join a highly skilled team, working on innovative projects and contributing to the evolution of our technology stack.

Work place: Rome

Responsibilities

Development and maintenance of high-performance data importers.
Improvement of existing code by eliminating outdated practices and adopting modern C++ techniques.
Performance optimization using the new features provided by modern C++ Standards.
Debugging and resolving complex issues to ensure software stability and efficiency.
Code management with Git to track changes and facilitate collaboration.
Use of CMake or other build systems to enhance project portability and modularity.
Identification and removal of dependencies on Microsoft-specific extensions, promoting the use of standard and cross-platform libraries.

Requirements

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft C++ and the versions used in Visual C++ environments.
Experience with modern C++ Standard and the ability to apply its principles to improve design and performance.
Proficiency in debugging and code optimization.
Familiarity with Git for version control management.
Experience with CMake or similar tools for project management.
Knowledge of ArangoDB and/or Neo4J.
Fluent in Italian

Nice to have

Experience with cross-platform libraries to replace proprietary solutions.
Knowledge of advanced profiling and code optimization tools.
Experience with CI/CD systems for automating build and test processes.
Familiarity with Linux development environments, in addition to Windows.
