About the role:
We are looking for aBusiness Development Manager to join ourMaverick team in Italy, focusing onAudio-Visual (AV) and collaboration solutions.
This is acustomer-facing, growth-driven role where you will take ownership of building and developing strategic relationships with key customers and vendors.
You will play a central role in executing the go-to-market strategy and driving revenue growth across your portfolio.
You will act as a trusted advisor to customers, identify new business opportunities, and ensure the successful execution of sales and marketing initiatives.
What you’ll do:
- Build and develop strong relationships withkey customers and strategic vendors
- Define and executegrowth plans for your assigned portfolio
- Drivesales activities, generate leads, and ensure accurate forecasting
- Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts
- Collaborate with vendors oncampaigns, focus areas, and go-to-market initiatives
- Support customers withcommercial proposals and solution positioning
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth operational execution
- Manage ad-hoc activities such asbids, tenders, pricing updates, and customer requests
- Maintain a strong understanding ofAV and collaboration market trends
What we’re looking for:
- 3 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in IT, AV, or collaboration solutions
- Strong ability tobuild and manage relationships with customers and partners
- Proven track record ofachieving or exceeding sales targets
- Experience working withCRM systems and structured sales processes
- Analytical mindset with good understanding ofnumbers, margins, and forecasting
- Proactive, structured, and results-oriented approach
- Fluency inItalian and good level English
Nice to have:
- Experience withAudio-Visual(AV) / collaboration vendors or technologies
- Knowledge ofquotation and order management systems
