About the Role:
At Globe International Trims Italia, we support fashion brands and garment manufacturers with dependable sourcing, product coordination, and supply chain solutions for textile trims, labels, packaging, buttons, zippers, and other apparel accessories.
We are looking for a Senior Supply Chain Specialist to strengthen our operations in Naples. In this role, you will coordinate suppliers, monitor inventory requirements, improve delivery performance, and help ensure that materials reach customers and production partners accurately and on schedule.
You will work closely with procurement, sales, quality, logistics, and product development teams. This is a senior individual contributor position with responsibility for complex supply chain activities, supplier coordination, and continuous improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Coordination:
Coordinate the movement of textile trims, labels, packaging materials, and garment accessories from suppliers to warehouses, production partners, and customers.
Supplier Management:
Maintain regular communication with suppliers regarding production schedules, order confirmations, delivery dates, shortages, and corrective actions.
Inventory Planning:
Monitor stock levels, demand requirements, lead times, and replenishment needs to reduce shortages and avoid unnecessary excess inventory.
Order Management:
Track purchase orders and customer requirements from confirmation through final delivery. Identify delays and work with internal teams to resolve issues quickly.
Logistics Coordination:
Work with freight forwarders, couriers, warehouses, and customs partners to support domestic and international shipments.
Performance Analysis:
Prepare reports covering supplier performance, delivery accuracy, inventory availability, lead times, logistics costs, and operational risks.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to improve planning accuracy, supplier communication, order visibility, and overall supply chain efficiency.
Cross Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with procurement, quality assurance, sales, finance, and product development teams to align supply chain activities with customer expectations.
Risk Management:
Identify potential supply disruptions, production delays, material shortages, and transportation issues. Develop practical contingency plans when required.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, production planning, purchasing, or supplier coordination.
Industry Background:
Experience in textiles, apparel, fashion accessories, manufacturing, packaging, retail, or consumer goods is highly desirable.
Supply Chain Knowledge:
Strong understanding of purchase orders, supplier lead times, inventory planning, logistics processes, delivery performance, and international shipments.
Analytical Skills:
Ability to analyse operational data, identify trends, prepare reports, and recommend practical improvements.
Technology Skills:
Confident user of Microsoft Excel and supply chain, inventory, ERP, or order management systems.
Communication:
Strong supplier and stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to manage priorities and resolve operational issues professionally.
Language Skills:
Fluent Italian is required. Professional working knowledge of English is strongly preferred due to communication with international suppliers and business partners.
