Job Title: IT Support Specialist

Position Overview
We are looking for a knowledgeable and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first line of defense for all internal technical issues, ensuring that our employees have a seamless and productive experience with their hardware and software. You will troubleshoot complex problems, manage user accounts, and contribute to the overall security and efficiency of our IT infrastructure.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Support & Troubleshooting
- Serve as the primary point of contact for end-users seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or ticketing system (e.g., Jira, Zendesk, ServiceNow).
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Troubleshoot issues related to operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), Office 365, VPNs, and common business applications.
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams or vendors in a timely manner.
User Account & Access Management
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls within Active Directory / Azure AD and Google Workspace.
- Handle on-boarding and off-boarding processes, including setting up new workstations and disabling accounts for departing employees.
System Maintenance & Security
- Perform regular system updates, patch management, and virus/malware scans to ensure endpoint security.
- Assist in maintaining IT asset inventory (hardware and software licenses).
- Implement and enforce IT policies regarding data security, backup, and recovery.
Documentation & Training
- Create and maintain clear, user-friendly documentation (Knowledge Base articles) for common IT issues and procedures.
- Provide basic training to staff on new technologies, software, or security best practices.
QualificationsRequired Skills & Experience
- Experience: 2–4 years of experience in a technical support or IT helpdesk role.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and macOS.
- Experience with Office 365 administration and Google Workspace.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote desktop support tools.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification.
- Experience with PowerShell or scripting for automation.
- Knowledge of MDM (Mobile Device Management) solutions like Intune or Jamf.
- Experience supporting VoIP systems.

Pay: €107.45 - €135.80 per day
