At WSP, we design the future of our communities. As one of the world’s leading engineering and professional services firms, we bring together expertise across transport and infrastructure, buildings, energy, environment, water and advisory. Across Central Europe, we combine local knowledge with international reach to deliver projects that create a positive, lasting impact for clients, communities and the environment.
In this role, you will contribute to digital and AI-related projects that require curiosity, collaboration and a practical, future-ready mindset. You will help internal teams identify meaningful AI use cases, adopt new tools and deliver solutions in collaboration with technical specialists across Italy and WSP’s global network.
You will join WSP’s Digital Innovation team, a multidisciplinary group supporting the organisation’s digital transformation through AI, data management, GIS, application development, automation and emerging technologies.
The role reports to our Line Leader Data Engineering and will work closely with colleagues based mainly in Turin, with additional team members in Rome and a technical development team in India. Projects can involve stakeholders across Italy, Europe and other global regions, including the Americas, Australia, Africa and the Middle East.
This is an opportunity to contribute to the practical adoption of AI across the business while building experience in project coordination, product support and stakeholder engagement.
What you will bring to the role
A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Management or a related discipline, or equivalent experience that gives you the right foundation for this role.
Exposure to Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, AI tools, automation, data analytics, Azure DevOps, Jira or Planner would be an advantage, but deep technical development skills are not required.
We do not expect you to know everything. We are looking for curiosity, motivation and willingness to learn. From day one, you will contribute to real projects, receive guidance from experienced professionals and progressively build your technical confidence.
When our people thrive, our projects thrive. At WSP, you will be supported to build your career, take on meaningful challenges and learn from talented professionals across a global network. We encourage flexibility, new ideas and growth in ways that reflect different career paths and ambitions.
