Our group is seeking a motivated intern to support our multidisciplinary R&D team. This role will give you exposure to the design, development, and integration of electrical systems in innovative projects, including robotics and automation.
Responsibilities:
Assist with electrical design, testing, and integration activities for ongoing R&D projects, including robotic systems.
Contribute to experiments and prototype development involving electrical components and control systems.
Support the R&D team with documentation, research tasks, and project coordination.
Help monitor project timelines and prepare progress updates.
Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts alongside experienced engineers.
Take part in the development of hardware solutions across different projects, including Makr Shakr, our robotic bartending platform.
Makr Shakr, a spin-off from CRA, develops robotic bartending systems, including the world-renowned robotic bar “Toni.”

Requirements:
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Familiarity with electrical systems, automation, or robotics through coursework, academic projects, or internships.
Basic understanding of electrical schematics, PCB design, or embedded systems is a plus.
Interest in programming (e.g., C/C++, Python, or similar).
Enthusiasm to learn design software tools such as Altium Designer, EAGLE, or similar.
Strong problem-solving mindset and a proactive, adaptable attitude.
Excellent collaboration skills and eagerness to work in a team environment.
