You shall be working in the research and development department, which is responsible for the control and automation logics relevant to Energy Storage, Photo voltaics, Hybrid solutions and Automation systems within the Grid Automation Business Unit – Power Conversion Systems team.
The proposed role is available in the Hitachi Energy Grid Automation offices in Genova Italy, and in Seville .
Being part of a global team, you shall interact with the different stakeholders of the organization and Operational units worldwide.
Your focus shall be on the verification & validation (V&V) of Hitachi Energy PCS product portfolio (PCS and Automation), with focus on the systems features for several applications, PV, BESS, Hybrid systems, grid connected and islanded power systems , etc. .
How you'll make an impact
You shall leverage your extensive knowledge for modelling : Power Electronics converters , digital controllers , renewable and thermal generation assets , load s in Hardware in the Loop to perform System Integration simulation s when the different assets are grid connected of in island operation.
