Software Engineer:
TXT e-Tech, a company of the TXT Group, is looking for a Software Engineer to join the Aerospace & Defense Business Unit.
The selected candidate will be involved in software development activities for avionics sensor data processing systems, operating within a structured system and software engineering environment.
The project includes requirements analysis, architectural definition, MATLAB/Simulink modelling, software development in C and C++, integration and testing activities in Linux environments, with the production of technical documentation according to quality- and traceability-oriented processes.
The resource will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in the aerospace and defense domain, contributing to the development of advanced engineering software systems.
Main responsibilities:
Analyze software requirements and prepare technical documentation
Support software architecture definition activities
Develop models using MATLAB/Simulink
Perform integration and verification of developed software
Prepare test procedures, test results and technical reports
Interface with customer technical representatives for project progress updates and reviews
Required technical skills:
Good knowledge of C and C++ programming languages
Operational knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink
Programming skills in Unix/Linux environments
Optional technical skills:
Basic knowledge of signal processing, data processing or data processing algorithms
Knowledge of structured or regulated software development processes
Familiarity with version control and configuration management tools
Experience in avionics, defense, sensor processing or embedded systems
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent STEM disciplines.
Soft skills:
Strong willingness to learn and grow in complex technical environments
Analytical mindset and problem-solving attitude
Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
Good knowledge of technical English
