Are you a hands-on technical expert who thrives in fast-paced environments? We’re looking for a Senior Airport Engineer to support and maintain advanced eGate systems at Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP). This is your chance to work at the forefront of airport technology, ensuring seamless passenger experiences while developing your technical expertise.
As a Technical Support Specialist, you will play a key role in keeping critical airport systems running smoothly. You’ll be based onsite at the airport, working independently from Monday to Friday during your 8-hour shift.
What will you do:

Performing routine system maintenance to ensure optimal performance of hardware and software

Diagnosing faults by identifying triggers, abnormal behavior, and root causes

Responding to incidents raised by SEA IT and carrying out break/fix activities

Collaborating with key stakeholders such as Polaria and SEA IT

Proactively communicating with the ESP coordinator, escalating issues when needed

Documenting troubleshooting steps and resolutions clearly in the ticketing system
What will you bring to ESP?

Technical education (Electrical or IT) with at least three years of relevant experience with hardware diagnostics and repair experience

Understanding of electrical and electronic components;

Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, HTTP, routing, and switching, etc.);

Fluent in English and Italian;

Driving License is mandatory;

Self-motivated and proactive individual with a problem-solving attitude.
