About the Role:
Naples has a long tradition of craftsmanship, fashion and international trade, and at Globe International Trims Italia, we bring those strengths into modern textile production and supply chain operations. We provide garment trims, labels, packaging materials and branding accessories to fashion manufacturers and retail partners.
We are looking for a Production Planner who can coordinate production schedules, material availability and customer delivery requirements. You will work closely with procurement, production, quality control, logistics and sales teams to ensure that orders are completed accurately, efficiently and on time.
You will not simply update spreadsheets. You will identify potential delays, balance production capacity and help the company make informed planning decisions.
Why Work With Us?
The Environment:
Our Naples office is located within the Centro Direzionale business district, providing convenient access to transport links, commercial services and logistics partners.
International Operations:
You will work with suppliers, production partners and customers across Italy and international markets.
Visible Impact:
Your planning decisions will directly influence production efficiency, inventory levels, customer satisfaction and delivery performance.
Professional Growth:
You will gain experience across production planning, procurement, inventory management, logistics and international supply chain operations.
Collaborative Culture:
You will work with experienced colleagues who value clear communication, practical problem solving and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Scheduling:
Create, maintain and update production schedules based on customer orders, available capacity, material lead times and delivery deadlines.
Material Planning:
Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to confirm that raw materials, trims, labels and packaging components are available before production begins.
Capacity Monitoring:
Review production capacity, machine availability, staffing requirements and supplier capabilities to identify potential constraints.
Order Coordination:
Monitor active customer orders from confirmation through production, quality inspection and final shipment.
Inventory Control:
Support appropriate inventory levels by reviewing material demand, consumption rates, safety stock and outstanding purchase orders.
Delivery Performance:
Track production progress and communicate any risk of delay to the relevant departments before it affects the customer.
Supplier Coordination:
Work with external manufacturers and suppliers to confirm lead times, production status and expected delivery dates.
Reporting:
Prepare regular production reports covering schedule adherence, order status, capacity utilisation, shortages and delivery performance.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities to improve planning processes, reduce production delays, minimise excess inventory and improve communication between departments.
Cross Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with procurement, sales, logistics, warehouse operations and quality control to maintain an accurate and realistic production plan.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
At least 3 years of experience in production planning, materials planning, supply chain coordination or manufacturing operations.
Industry Background:
Experience within textiles, apparel, packaging, consumer goods or a related manufacturing environment is preferred.
Planning Skills:
Strong ability to prioritise orders, manage changing deadlines and balance customer requirements with available production capacity.
Technical Skills:
Confident user of Microsoft Excel and production planning, ERP or inventory management systems.
Analytical Ability:
Comfortable reviewing production data, inventory levels, lead times and operational performance indicators.
Communication:
Able to communicate clearly with suppliers, production teams, warehouse personnel and commercial stakeholders.
Language Skills:

Mindset:
You are organised, practical and proactive. You identify potential problems early, communicate clearly and remain calm when production priorities change.
