Are you experienced in Property Services with a passion about customer care & service? Then this role is for you!
Horton Housing are currently recruiting for two experienced Property Services Officers on a full time permanent contract. The annual salary for this role is £29,509 per annum. You will also be entitled to 6 weeks annual leave (plus bank holidays) and full access to our Employee Assistance Programme.
Reporting to the Property Services Contact Centre Manager, the successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring that the responsive repairs service provided to tenants and colleagues remains customer focused and health and safety compliant. You will also undertake Home Condition Surveys and Housing Health and Safety Rating System surveys, as well as pre and post inspections of responsive and empty property repairs, assisting the Contact Centre Manager in undertaking contractor reviews.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to accurately record data

Recent experience of diagnosing common building defects, specifying repairs, and monitoring contractor performance

Passionate about customer care & service

A relevant qualification or willingness to work towards an appropriate formal qualification

Ability to climb ladders & work in confined spaces (basement cellars/ roof spaces)

Ability to work on own initiative

A full driving license and access to a vehicle that is insured for business use
DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Experience of working in a social or supported housing environment

Experience of working in compliance with HSE guidance and relevant legislation
