About the Role
We are looking for a Controlling Manager who will play a key role within the Group Finance function, supporting the management and performing controlling activities across the defined perimeter.
The role will cover a broad scope with a strong focus on operational cost control, investment monitoring, planning scenarios, managerial monthly closures and support strategic and transformation initiatives
The selected candidate will act as a business partner to the reference functions, ensuring data consistency, process and policies compliance, financial visibility, supporting decision-making, and driving performance improvement.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage the controlling activities across a broad perimeter, ensuring accuracy and consistency of financial data;
- Support budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning processes, with a focus on cost control and investments;
- Monitor and analyze operational costs, highlighting variances and identifying optimization opportunities;
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives;
- Act as a business partner to stakeholders across operations and corporate functions;
- Ensure alignment with Group guidelines, policies, processes, and reporting standards;
- Supervise and develop resources, ensuring coordination and professional growth;
- Contribute to the improvement of controlling processes, tools, and reporting systems;
- Collaborate with other finance teams at Group level to ensure consistency and best practice sharing.
- Proactively take part in transformation projects and strategic initiatives involving the assigned perimeter, being able to act as project manager, ensuring time respect and expected deliverables
What You Need to Be Successful
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Management Enigineering or related fields;
- Solid experience in controlling roles, ideally within complex and structured organizations;
- Strong background in operational controlling and cost analysis;
- Previous experience in managing resources or small teams;
- Ability to work across different business areas (corporate functions, divisions and local organization) and relate across different organizations levels;
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights;
- Proactive mindset and ability to operate in a dynamic and evolving environment;
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
- Availability to travel;
- Fluency in English.
Our Offer
Compensation for this role includes a base salary starting from EUR 64000, in line with experience. The actual offer may exceed this minimum based on the candidate's qualifications and fit for the role.
The compensation package also includes a variable component in the form of an annual bonus, which can reach 15% of base salary at target.
A range of additional benefits (e.g., insurances, etc.) is also available in accordance with Company policy.
The applicable collective agreement is the CCNL Metalmeccanico.
