System Engineer – Electromechanical Integration and Testing Specialist:
For a defence sector project, TXT E-TECH is seeking a candidate to be involved in the design, integration, verification and testing of complex electromechanical systems, with a particular focus on interpreting technical documentation, managing system tests and supporting pre-testing and validation activities.
Main responsibilities:
Supporting electromechanical hardware integration activities on complex systems, including rack cabinets, cabling, electrical equipment and mechanical subsystems;
Reading, interpreting and verifying electromechanical schematics, technical layouts, CAD drawings and project documentation;
Contributing to the mechanical and/or electrical design of subsystems intended for integration onto Shelter platforms;
Support the definition, preparation and execution of system tests;
Collaborate on the drafting of the test specifications required for the functional verification of systems;
Participate in pre-acceptance testing activities alongside the internal Quality Assurance functions;
Verify consistency between technical requirements, project documentation, hardware configuration and test results;
Contribute to the analysis of any non-conformities identified during the integration, testing and acceptance phases.
Technical skills required:
The candidate must have at least a basic knowledge of one or more of the following areas:
- Applicable military standards, such as MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-1472 or equivalent standards;
- CAD tools relevant to the sector of application;
a good ability to interpret electrical, mechanical and electromechanical diagrams;
- Mechanical and/or electrical design;
- Experience in electromechanical hardware integration, preferably involving rack cabinets, shelters or complex industrial systems;
- Knowledge of power supply systems and the main applicable standards, including CEI 64-8 or equivalent;
- Experience in carrying out and managing system tests on shelter platforms;
- Ability to support the drafting and verification of procedures, test standards and technical documentation.
Optional technical skills:
Previous experience in the defence, avionics, naval, railway, industrial or aerospace sectors;
Familiarity with environmental, vibration, thermal or ergonomic qualification processes;
Experience of liaising with Quality Assurance, production, systems engineering and integration departments;
Ability to work on complex systems, where electrical, mechanical and functional aspects must be treated as a single technical entity.
Education: Diploma/Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree in STEM subjects.

The contract offered for this position is a permanent one, and the salary range for this position is between EUR 32.000 € and EUR 35.000 € gross per year.
The grading/level will be defined during the selection process based on the candidate's profile and in accordance with the National Collective Labor Agreement (Metalworking Industry).
