IT Support Specialist (m/f/x)
As a Computer Specialist, you will be part of our Global Technical Services team, providing IT support across Europe, India, and the United States. You will help ensure the reliable operation of our IT infrastructure by supporting end users, maintaining systems and networks, deploying hardware, and contributing to a secure and efficient technology environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career IT professional who enjoys solving technical problems, working in an international environment, and continuously learning new technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Ø Provide first-level technical support for internal users and manage Help Desk tickets, escalating issues where appropriate.
Ø Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop operating systems, software applications, printers, audio/visual equipment, and client-server applications.
Ø Support Microsoft technologies including Outlook, SharePoint, and Windows operating systems.
Ø Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and availability of networks, PCs, servers, and IT systems.
Ø Perform routine maintenance activities, including Windows updates, operating system patches, antivirus updates, and malware protection.
Ø Assist with user account administration, network printer configuration, and other basic network administration tasks.
Ø Support PC deployment, hardware lifecycle management, and maintenance of IT asset inventory.
Ø Assist in managing virtual machine templates, including creating, updating, and retiring templates.
Ø Perform server maintenance activities across on-premise and AWS environments.
Ø Support IT security initiatives by monitoring system logs and helping maintain data integrity and endpoint protection.
Ø Participate in special IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Your Qualifications:
Ø Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
Ø 1–2 years of experience in technical support, IT help desk, or desktop support.
Ø Solid understanding of:
- Window operating systems
- PC hardware and troubleshooting
- Networking fundamentals
- Virtual machines
- Help Desk support
- AWS cloud environments
Ø Knowledge of IT security, antivirus management, and data protection best practices.
Ø Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ø Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ø Fluent English, both written and spoken.
