Compensation
A starting salary of € 50.000 (Ral) is provided. The offer will take into account the level of responsibility, autonomy, and complexity of the role that the candidate will be able to handle, based on their knowledge and experience.

Your Role
The Project Sourcing Manager acts as the central Procurement interface for R&D, development projects and customer-specific projects across all material categories. The role represents Procurement in project kick-offs, steering committees and regular project reviews, ensuring that sourcing strategies, supplier onboarding activities and procurement deliverables are fully aligned with project cost, quality, timeline, ESG and compliance objectives.
Acting as a key link between Procurement, Engineering and Project Management, the role drives collaboration, risk management and successful project execution.
Tasks & Responsibilities

Cross-Category Project Leadership: coordinate all procurement activities for development and customer projects, ensuring alignment of sourcing requirements, budgets, category strategies and key stakeholders.

Project Governance & Procurement Deliverables: act as the Procurement representative within project teams, integrating sourcing milestones into project plans, coordinating procurement deliverables and supporting key stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

Supplier Integration & Innovation: promote supplier engagement from the early stages of development, supporting innovation and cost-effective sourcing solutions. Coordinate supplier selection, onboarding and readiness across functions, ensuring all compliance and documentation requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Risk & Scenario Management: identify and manage project sourcing risks (including material availability, supplier capacity, regulatory requirements), implementing mitigation strategies and alternative supply solutions to ensure project continuity, supplier reliability and timely delivery of project objectives.

Financial Control & Reporting: ensure effective control of project procurement budgets and provide reporting on cost status, supplier readiness, risk and ESG compliance to management and project stakeholders.

Leadership & Stakeholder Alignment: drive stakeholder alignment across senior management, project teams and suppliers, coordinating procurement activities (involving Category Managers and Buyers) and ensuring effective execution, compliance and strategic business partnership throughout the project lifecycle.

Accountability & Work Organization: ensure successful delivery of project sourcing objectives by driving cross-functional alignment, managing priorities across multiple projects, mitigating risks proactively, and implementing sourcing strategies consistently across locations.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): key metrics management that includes project budget performance, supplier readiness, sourcing risk mitigation, on-time delivery, early supplier engagement and ESG compliance.

Internal & External Interfaces: act as the key point of contact for cross-functional teams (Procurement, Project Management, R&D, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Production and Sales) and external stakeholders, including suppliers, strategic partners, auditors, consultants and customers.
Your Profile
Skills & Competencies-
Strong procurement and sourcing expertise in complex, international and regulated environments.

Proven experience in supplier integration, project governance, budget management and risk mitigation.

Proven track record in achieving cost targets, enabling supplier innovation and mitigating sourcing risks.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.

Solid knowledge of SAP (focus on MM and PUR processes) and procurement tools, combined with advanced Microsoft Office and reporting capabilities (Excel, Power BI).

Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools such as MS Project, Jira or equivalent.

Expert knowledge of English.
Required experience-
7+ years of experience in procurement or sourcing, including project-based assignments.
Required education-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics or engineering.
