We are looking for a motivated and professional Rome Colosseum & Vatican Expert to join our growing international tourism team in Rome.
This is a full-time, on-site office position for someone who enjoys working with people, handling daily tourism operations, and sharing the beauty of Rome with travelers from around the world.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome and assist guests professionally while coordinating tours and experiences related to the Colosseum, Vatican, and other major attractions in Rome
- Manage reservations, schedules, check-ins, and daily administrative tasks using Rezdy and other booking management systems
- Handle guest requests, operational issues, and last-minute changes efficiently while maintaining a calm and positive attitude in a fast-paced tourism environment
- Promote additional tours and experiences while delivering excellent customer service
- Work closely with guides, drivers, and operational staff to ensure smooth daily activities and exceptional guest experiences
- Provide local recommendations, insider tips, and useful information about Rome’s attractions, culture, and logistics as a “Rome Expert”
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in tourism, travel operators, tour companies, or similar tourism-related roles
- Previous experience working with tours related to the Colosseum, Vatican, or Rome attractions is highly preferred
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Google Workspace, and booking software
- Experience using Rezdy or other booking management systems (Rezdy is a strong plus)
- Fluent English required; Italian and additional languages are an advantage
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Organized, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced tourism environment
- Professional attitude and strong problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work full-time on-site in Rome (office-based position)
- Must hold a valid work permit for Italy
- Must currently be based in or near Rome
