Overview:
Menarini is looking for an experienced Grants & Funding Manager to join the Corporate Grants&Funding Department at our Florence headquarters.
The role is focused on identifying, managing, and coordinating European, national, and regional funding opportunities, supporting the full lifecycle of grant applications and funded projects.
Main Activities & Responsibilities:
- Monitor and identify European, national, and regional funding programmes and calls for proposals;

Analyze funding opportunities and align them with internal project ideas and strategic
objectives; -
Prepare and manage grant application documentation, including application forms,
administrative files, and presentations; -
Coordinate and oversee grant submission activities, ensuring compliance with funding
requirements and deadlines; -
Manage project activities related to funded initiatives and monitor project progress;

Produce monthly reports to track budget vs actual performance;

Manage shared project documentation and confidential data;

Liaise with external consultants, project partners, and internal cross-functional teams;

Follow up on signatures, declarations, and documentation from senior management
Provide training and operational support to project participants and stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing complex funding projects independently. Experience working with EU-funded programmes, cross-functional teams, and external institutional partners will be considered a strong asset.

Master’s degree in Economics or STEM disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering &
Mathematics); -
More than 5 years of experience in grants management, EU funding programmes, project, reporting, or related funding activities;

Strong knowledge of European, national, and regional funding mechanisms and application processes;

Advanced proficiency in grant application platforms and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel,
PowerPoint, Word, Project); -
Proven experience in European funded project reporting and coordination;

Excellent organizational, analytical, and project management skills;

Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities;

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex projects in an international
environment; -
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The selected candidate will be employed under Category A in accordance with the provisions of the current National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) for the Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industry, including all applicable contractual and remuneration terms, and in compliance with Legislative Decree No. 96/2026.
