Wiring Harness Industrilization & Quality Specialist
We are seeking a highly motivated Wiring Industrialization Engineer to follow the technical development of wiring harness (and its electrical sub-systems) throughout the vehicle lifecycle. The role involves cross-functional coordination with engineering, quality and manufacturing teams to support the design of the Wiring Harness Lay-Out and to ensure, especially, its correct Industrialization and its Integration on board the vehicle, in compliance with design rules, Lessons Learned, Time and Cost.
Main activities:
✓ Oversee Assembly Plants during industrialization phases to:

Analyze the compliance of the physical Wiring Harness layout on vehicles.

Ensure proper assembly of Wiring Harness.
-
Check Wiring Harness issues, find Root Causes and define Palliative and/or Permanent solutions.
✓ Work with Project/Program Team and Wiring Harness Supplier to:
-
Preserve the technical know-how about the sub-packaging of the wiring harness.
-
Ensure the compliance of the parts.
-
Check all the wiring layout reworks and give technical approval.
✓ Collaborate with the CORE Team and Project/Program Team to:
-
Guarantee the application of the harness layout Standards / Lessons Learned.

Transversalize technical solutions across segments for consistency.

Report any possible improvements/updates regarding the wiring harness, as Design requirement, LL, Best Practice.
✓ Provide technical contribution for all digital and physical audits regarding the wiring harness (e.g.: ETI assessment, Digital Ring audit, CCP Gemba walk, Deep Dive VEHICLE LAYOUT, Customer Audit).
✓ Ensure the right quality improvement of the wiring harness and participate to technical quality initiatives such as Quality Gemba Walks, Plant Academy, addressing warranty issues and Total Warranty Cost.
✓ Partecipate to all the Cost Reduction Activities to do, analyze and validate the technical proposals, including Workshops, Boosters, Benchmarking and Monozukuri.
Technical Skills:

Strong foundation in Electrotechnics and Electronics: Ability to understand and evaluate electrical systems and components, with a solid grasp of circuit design, signal flow, and system integration.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Skilled in Excel for data analysis and reporting, PowerPoint for technical presentations, and Word for documentation and reporting.

Basic CAD Knowledge: Ability to interpret and review technical drawings and schematics; familiarity with CAD tools used in electrical and mechanical design.
