As Construction Project Manager, you will play a key role in managing the execution, transformation, and operational continuity of our retail network across multiple countries.
You will oversee the coordination and execution of store opening, refurbishment, closure, and strip-out projects, ensuring alignment across contractors, suppliers, landlords, technical advisors, and internal stakeholders.
This role combines project management, operational and cross-functional execution in a fast-paced international retail environment, with a strong focus on timelines, budget monitoring, and opening readiness.
This is a hands-on role requiring direct involvement in day-to-day project execution, site follow-up and problem solving.
The Construction Project Manager will:
- Rollout projects from initial planning and budgeting to store handover
- Manage new openings, refurbishments and strip-out activities across Italy and other countries in our network
- Ensure stores are delivered according to operational and brand standards
- Manage relations for external contractors, suppliers, technical consultants, and landlords
- Coordinate day-to-day project execution and ensure alignment between all involved stakeholders
- Escalate delays, risks, or blockers proactively and drive problem resolution.
- Undertake budget tracking and CAPEX monitoring activities
- Collaborate with Finance and Retail teams on approvals, reporting, and forecasting
- Contribute to the prevention of extra-costs and execution inefficiencies through structured follow-up
- Manage relations and follow ups with local technical advisors and consultants to unlock permits, authorizations, and compliance-related activities
- Ensure projects are executed according to safety, operational, and technical standards
- Work closely with Retail Operations, Facilities, Finance, Supply Chain, and external partners
- Contribute to improving project management processes and rollout governance
- Execute the development of scalable operational standards across countries
- 3/5 years of experience in Construction Project Management, Retail Rollout, Facilities, or similar project-based roles
- Previous exposure to retail, food retail, hospitality, QSR, or multi-site environments
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing external contractors, suppliers, and technical stakeholders
- Good understanding of construction project phases, timelines, and budget monitoring
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Pragmatic, hands-on, and execution-oriented mindset
- Comfortable working in fast-paced and evolving environments
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Workspace, and project management tools
- Fluent English (mandatory); additional European languages are a plus
- Availability to travel across Europe when required
