Horton Housing are currently recruiting for an experienced ICT Trainer to work alongside our established Learning & Development & ICT departments. This is a full time position, working across Monday to Friday (35 hour per week), with an annual salary of £33,778.00. You will be entitled to 6 weeks paid annual leave (plus bank holidays) as well as full access to our Employee Assistance Programme.
The role will include meeting new colleagues on their first day of work and delivering their ICT equipment and providing an induction on how to use it. You will also undertake a skills assessment with new starters, to identify any training needs they may have.
You will also provide one to one in person training to individual colleagues as well as in person training to small groups in the use of IT/software. Our colleagues appreciate it when training is delivered in their place of work (where this is possible). The role will therefore involve travelling to our different schemes located across Braford, Kirklees, Calderdale and North Yorkshire as well as working from our Learning & Development Department in Bradford.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide an induction to all new colleagues on their Horton IT and mobile phone equipment

Carry out an IT assessment with all new colleagues, identify their strengths and weakness in relation to IT skills and arrange/provide appropriate training

Provide one to one and group training on various IT software packages used by the organisation. This training also includes training in process to drive consistent and efficient use of technology. These include but are not limited to:

Work with the ICT Team to understand and prepare for the roll out of new systems

Work with the Learning & Development Manager to assess the IT competencies of all colleagues across the organisation and use this data to identify IT training needs and appropriate training packages

Aid services to develop and deploy consistent data management processes, including management of data at the end of its lifecycle (and required retention timeframes). Note, this may include migration of data management away from traditional file server storage and into either relevant business systems and/or increased use of SharePoint
