We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused IT Support Specialist (Tecnico IT) to provide technical support to employees and ensure the smooth operation of the company's IT systems. The successful candidate will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, install and maintain computer equipment, support network connectivity, and assist users with technical problems while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first- and second-level technical support to employees in person, by phone, email, or remote access.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and network connectivity issues.
- Set up user accounts, passwords, email access, and permissions.
- Install, update, and maintain business software and operating systems.
- Monitor and maintain IT systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Perform routine maintenance, system upgrades, and software patches.
- Document technical issues, solutions, and support activities using a ticketing system.
- Assist with data backup and recovery procedures.
- Support onboarding and offboarding of employees by preparing and configuring IT equipment.
- Work with external vendors when hardware repairs or specialized support are required.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and cybersecurity best practices.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
- Previous experience in IT support, help desk, or technical support is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, networking fundamentals, and common business applications.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, remote support tools, and basic cybersecurity practices is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Fluency in Italian; basic English skills are considered an advantage.
