Network Engineer - Backbone Network Solution Engineer:
Key Requirements:
- Analyzing, allocating and tracking User Requirements
- Defining, allocating and tracking System/Subsystem Requirements
- Tracking User/System/Subsystem Requirements to Design and to Test (link-to-test)
- Defining System Architecture
- Defining logical and physical interfaces
- Producing Design documentation (Bill of Materials, Technical Specifications, Block Diagrams, Deployment Layouts, Interface Control Documents, Test Procedures, etc.)
- Producing Construction/Installation Design documentation (Wiring Diagrams, From-to-Tables, Typical Installation Drawings, etc.)
- Producing post-Design documentation (Operation & Maintenance manuals, training documentation, etc.)
- Interfacing with the internal stakeholders (System Engineering Manager, System Engineers)
- Interfacing with suppliers
- Supporting Procurement activities
- Supporting Configuration Management activities
- Supporting Integration, Verification, Validation, Qualification activities
- Telecommunication (Networks Backbone/ IT Infrastructures)
- Dimensioning, Design and Integration of complex multiservice (data / video / voice) wired telecommunication networks (Gigabit Ethernet, MPLS, etc.) and IP backbones
- Mastery of main Network L2 and L3 protocols (LACP, RSTP, OSPF, VLAN, etc…), protection protocols and their implementation
- Knowledge of the devices of main players in the market
- Knowledge of Network security policy and protocols
- Past experiences in IP networks configuration and deployment is an added value
- Fluency in English is mandatory
Sede: Sesto Fiorentino 3gg a settimana on site
