About the Role
We are seeking a senior mechanical engineer to join our Engineering department, supporting the Tobacco Maker & Auxiliary equipments projects team. The successful candidate will work alongside Senior Mechanical Designers, managing projects from concept to completion, to develop full autonomy.

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will:
- Design mechanical components as well as small machine groups;
- Modify already existing machine groups, design mechanical parts;
- Draft relevant technical documentation;
- Support the assembly department for ongoing modifications;
- Strong collaboration with the Electronics Department;
- Design review;
The position is based in Bologna (Italy).
What You Need to Be Successful
To be successful in the role, you must have a strong and keen interest in designing activities and an innate aptitude for working with customers and colleagues. You are a team player.
You also:
- Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or related.
- Previous experience of at least 2 years of experience;
- Know parametric designing tools. Understanding of Creo Modelling and CAD Tools will be considered a plus;
- You are willing to learn SAP and Oracle. If you already have, it will be considered a plus;
- You feel at ease speaking, reading, and writing in English;
- You are thrilled about potential business trips (15-20%);
- You are handy, flexible, and curious.
Our Offer
Compensation for this role includes a base salary starting from EUR 40.000, in line with experience. The actual offer may exceed this minimum based on the candidate's qualifications and fit for the role.
A range of additional benefits (e.g., insurances, etc.) is also available in accordance with Company policy.
The applicable collective agreement is the CCNL Metalmeccanico.
