WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
- Assist in the planning and execution of research projects;
- Conduct experiments and tests to collect data;
- Analyze data and assist in preparing technical reports;
- Help in the design, development, and implementation of new and improved products;
- Perform routine laboratory tasks, such as preparing solutions and maintaining equipment; therefore and to this purpose the candidate will also be able to perform manual jobs such as welding and connecting hydraulic fittings.
- Maintain accurate records of experiments and results;
- Work closely with the research and development team to ensure projects are on schedule and within budget;
- Implement techniques for tests, defining methodologies, tools and best practices, necessary for the continuous improvement;
- Follow established procedures and guidelines to perform routine laboratory procedures to test the quality of the organization's raw materials, in-process products, and finished products, with a focus on new product development.
YOU HAVE:
- High School or equivalent
- Ideally 2+ years’ experience as Lab Technician
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups or managers.
- Self-motivated and ability to motivate others.
- Analytical skills and problem solving abilities.
- Proficient use of Microsoft products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook.
