WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Assist in the planning and execution of research projects;
Conduct experiments and tests to collect data;
Analyze data and assist in preparing technical reports;
Help in the design, development, and implementation of new and improved products;
Perform routine laboratory tasks, such as preparing solutions and maintaining equipment; therefore and to this purpose the candidate will also be able to perform manual jobs such as welding and connecting hydraulic fittings.
Maintain accurate records of experiments and results;
Work closely with the research and development team to ensure projects are on schedule and within budget;
Implement techniques for tests, defining methodologies, tools and best practices, necessary for the continuous improvement;
Follow established procedures and guidelines to perform routine laboratory procedures to test the quality of the organization's raw materials, in-process products, and finished products, with a focus on new product development.
YOU HAVE:
High School or equivalent
Ideally 2+ years’ experience as Lab Technician
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups or managers.
Self-motivated and ability to motivate others.
Analytical skills and problem solving abilities.
Proficient use of Microsoft products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook.
Pay Transparency
nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance.
This role is categorized as a B1 or B2 based on experience.
Annual Gross Compensation Range:
EUR 40,000.00 – 48,000.00
Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as short or long-term incentives, which are discretionary and governed by the terms of the applicable plan documents.
Remuneration terms are also subject to the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement in force at the employer (nVent) level.
