The Senior HR Manager ensures the effective implementation and local adaptation of Group HR policies and strategies within the Operations Directorate of Manitou Italia Srl (MIT) and functionally coordinates the HR activities of the two Italian subsidiaries. This role is the key reference for union relations and ensures the alignment of HR practices with business needs and local regulations.
Hard Line Reporting: HR Director, Manitou Italia Srl
Scope of Responsibility: MIT Operations Directorate (headquarters) and functional coordination of HR activities in the 2 Italian subsidiaries.
The Senior HR Manager assumes the following key responsibilities, working in close collaboration with the local and international HR team, and guaranteeing correct local execution adapted to the company’s needs.
Union Relations Management: Directly manage local union relations, representing the Company in negotiations and signing the necessary agreements.
Disputes: Represent the Company in court and out-of-court settings concerning disputes/litigation related to employment relationships.
Compliance: Ensure the correct and timely application of all legislative, contractual, and administrative obligations concerning labor relations and pertinent documentation.
Policy Implementation: Ensure that Group HR policies are appropriately deployed, implemented, and monitored across all personnel within their scope (Operations and Subsidiaries).
Recruitment and Selection: Directly manage recruitment and selection activities in support of Managers across all areas of competence (Operations and Subsidiaries).
Competence Planning and L&D: Define, in collaboration with Operations Managers, competence requirements (education, skills, experience) according to the role. Work in coordination with the Italian Learning & Development Manager to ensure that identified training needs are considered and included in development plans.
Administrative Management: Manage disciplinary procedures and current human resource activities (payroll, contributions, absences, injuries, etc.).
Personnel Costs: Analyze personnel costs by highlighting anomalies and variances.
Company Climate: Promote and support initiatives aimed at maintaining a good internal feeling.
