The Team
A&M Tax is an independent tax group made up of experienced tax professionals dedicated to providing customized tax advice to clients and investors across a broad range of industries. Its professionals extend A&M’s commitment to offering clients a choice in advisors who are free from audit-based conflicts of interest and bring an unyielding commitment to delivering responsive client service. A&M Tax has offices in major metropolitan markets throughout EMEA, the U.S., Asia and Australia.
In today’s increasingly complex global tax environment, having international reach, a strong local presence and the right expertise is critical to the successful execution of all client tax affairs.
Responsibilities:
- Employment tax advisory — Providing domestic and international employment tax advice, with a focus on complex structures and cross‑border scenarios
- Private client tax management — Supporting private clients and HNWIs, including interaction with Italian tax authorities and practical implementation
- Global mobility & social security — Advising on social security requirements for international moves, including totalisation agreements and bilateral treaties
- Payroll due diligence — Leading and coordinating payroll due diligence for M&A, carve‑outs and corporate restructurings
- Compensation & benefits — Supporting equity plans, stock options, LTIPs and fringe benefits
- Technical drafting — Preparing technical opinions, memoranda and defence files for audits and litigation
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Economics, Law or a related discipline
- Qualification as Dottore Commercialista and registration as a Chartered Accountant (Albo)
- 3–4 years’ experience in a leading consulting firm (Big 4 or equivalent) or a top-tier tax/legal practice
- Experience advising on global mobility matters
- Experience managing private clients on international tax issues (Regime Impatriati, HNWI)
- Experience with equity compensation structures (carried interest, stock plans)
- Experience in payroll due diligence and compensation & benefits
- Fluent English, with the ability to operate in international environments and draft technical documentation
- A quick learner with strong diligence, adaptability and a willingness to take on new challenges
- Strong interpersonal skills and flexibility
The ideal candidates will be engaged, entrepreneurial, action-orientated, and hands-on. They will have experience working in the Spanish market. The ability to quickly establish, develop and enhance internal and client relationships will be key in the collaborative network we work in at A&M.
