Jr. Industrial Sales:
For the Northern Area Industrial Division, we are seeking a candidate to fill the role of Junior Industrial Sales.
The sales representative will manage relationships with existing clients and will be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities for SOL’s technological solutions, products and services.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, the main activities will include, by way of example:
Managing and retaining the active customer portfolio, ensuring continuous support and anticipating their business needs.
Developing the market by scouting for new potential customers, utilising sector analysis and in-depth knowledge of SOL solutions.
Contributing to the definition of the company’s sales strategies, supporting management with data and analysis of the local market.
Working closely with the technical department, feeding back insights gathered in the field to optimise the development of bespoke products and services.
Requirements
Qualifications: A sixth-form diploma, preferably in a technical field (Chemical, Mechanical, Thermotechnical or Electronic Engineering) or Economics/Business. A degree (bachelor’s and/or master’s) in engineering, chemistry or economics would be an advantage.
At least 2–3 years’ experience in a commercial role (Sales Account Manager, Business Developer or Technical Sales Representative), preferably in the industrial sector.
Good knowledge of English.
Strong communication skills, negotiation skills and a customer-focused approach.
Organisational autonomy, flexibility, initiative and a highly dynamic approach.
Proven ability to manage complex industrial client development and management projects is an advantage.
Strong problem-solving skills, aptitude for teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.
Willingness to travel within the region (with a primary focus on the western area of Milan).

The pay grade and final annual salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s actual experience, in accordance with the minimum pay scales set out in the relevant national collective agreement.
