Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in circuit design, power systems, or embedded systems, and a proven ability to take projects from concept to production.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Development:
- Design and develop electrical systems, schematics, and PCB layouts using [e.g., Altium, Eagle, AutoCAD Electrical].
- Select appropriate components (capacitors, resistors, ICs, connectors) based on cost, availability, and performance requirements.
- Perform simulations and calculations to validate design integrity (e.g., load flow, short circuit, voltage drop).
Testing & Validation:
- Develop and execute test plans to verify system performance against specifications.
- Utilize lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, and function generators for troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., IEEE, NEC, UL, CE) and safety regulations.
Project Management & Documentation:
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and budgets within the engineering department.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including BOMs (Bills of Materials), test reports, and user manuals.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Mechanical, Software, Manufacturing) to ensure seamless integration.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Identify opportunities to improve product efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance reliability.
QualificationsRequired Skills & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: [X]+ years of experience in electrical design and engineering.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Proficient in [CAD software / Simulation tools].
- Strong understanding of analog/digital circuits, power electronics, and control systems.
- Experience with [Specific area: e.g., PLC programming, HV/LV distribution, RF design, or Battery Management Systems].
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
Preferred (Nice-to-Haves)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Experience in [Specific Industry: e.g., Automotive, Aerospace, Medical Devices].
- Familiarity with [Programming Language: e.g., Python, C++, or MATLAB].
- Experience with EMC/EMI compliance testing.
