We are looking for a
As a sales support officer, you are the link between sales and our customers. You ensure that the entire process, from order entry to invoicing, runs smoothly and that goods are delivered to the customer on time and according to the agreed requirements. You are also the first point of contact in case of any issues and work closely with different departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
- You provide administrative support for the activities of our sales team.
- You follow up on orders from initial contact through to invoicing and make sure that the requested goods are delivered on time and in line with the required specifications, such as packaging, quality and delivery terms.
- You follow up on any delivery issues and complaints, anticipate potential problems as much as possible and take appropriate action in consultation with the customer.
- You enter contracts and orders in SAP, including sample requests, and follow up on their further processing.
- Internally, you work closely with planners, sales managers and logistics teams.
You ensure flawless administration of your own files and step in to support colleagues when they are absent.
You'll succeed if:
- You work accurately and in a structured way, and you enjoy providing strong administrative support. Knowledge of SAP is required, as you will use the system daily to process and follow up on orders and contracts.
- For this role, English is an absolute must, combined with a professional working knowledge of German or Dutch. You communicate clearly with colleagues, customers and internal stakeholders, and follow up proactively when information is missing or unclear.
- Experience in sales support, customer service or administration is a strong asset, but not a must. What matters most is your accuracy, reliability and willingness to learn.
- As the role is based in Genova, you are generally expected to work from the office.
