Middle MATLAB/Simulink Software Engineer:
TXT e-Tech, a company of the TXT Group, is looking for a Software Engineer to join a highly innovative project within the Aerospace & Defense sector.
The selected candidate will act as the technical reference for the software development team, contributing to the definition of the software architecture, development methodologies, and software integration and validation activities. The role offers the opportunity to work in a cutting-edge environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on the development of embedded systems for aerospace applications.
Main responsibilities:
Design software architectures for embedded systems
Develop advanced software using MATLAB and Simulink
Define software development guidelines and best practices
Perform Code Reviews and Model Reviews
Provide technical leadership to the software development team
Support System Engineering activities
Manage Software Integration activities
Analyze and resolve complex technical issues
Required technical skills:
Proven experience in software development using MATLAB and Simulink
Experience in Embedded Systems development
Experience in software architecture design
Strong technical leadership skills
Excellent command of the English language
Optional technical skills:
Knowledge of DO-178C
Experience with Model-Based Design methodologies
Knowledge of Embedded Coder
Experience with Continuous Integration processes
Knowledge of Safety-Critical Software development
Experience with RTOS environments
Knowledge of the Avionics domain
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
Aerospace Engineering
Aeronautical Engineering
or equivalent disciplines

What We Offer
The contract offered for this position is a permanent one, and the salary range for this position is between EUR 35.000 € and EUR 42.000 € gross per year.
The grading/level will be defined during the selection process based on the candidate's profile and in accordance with the National Collective Labor Agreement
