To support our Company’s growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic Digital Design Engineer who will be part of our Electronics Unit, contributing to the design and development of next‑generation space technologies.

DUTIES
As a Digital Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of FPGA architectures and Digital Designs for Space applications, focusing on On-Board Computers and Telecommunication solutions intended to operate both on Earth and deep-space missions (Moon and Mars).
The activities will include (but are not limited to):

Design and development of FPGA architecture based on system requirements;

Validation of FPGA architectures through simulation;

Implementation and testing activities;
-
Debugging and bug tracking for developed architecture;

Timing and power optimization of FPGA architectures;
-
Support to product development and project activities planning;
-
Contribution to continuous improvement, documentation quality and knowledge‑sharing within the team.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent technical field;

At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the aerospace industry;

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams;
-
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills;
-
Excellent written and oral communication in English.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
-
Strong understanding of digital hardware design;
-
Proficiency in C, C++, SystemVerilog and Python;
-
Proven experience with VHDL or Verilog;
-
Good knowledge of FPGA development methods and processes;
-
Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation for prototyping and testing;
-
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, working under tight deadlines;

Continuous learning attitude and commitment to excellence.
ADDITIONAL ASSETS
-
Experience with Universal Verification Methodology (UVM);
-
Experience in embedded software development (C/C++);
-
Knowledge of Xilinx AMD, Radiant, and Microsemi IDEs;

Understanding of digital interface standards for intra-board and inter-board I/O;

Experience with version control systems (Git, Jira);
-
Knowledge of scripting languages (TCL).
