The Opportunity
HITACHI ENERGY ITALY S.P.A. is seeking an experienced Service Sales/Tender Specialist professional to drive growth and profitability within our service portfolio.
Hope you’ll make an impact:
Develop and implement comprehensive service sales strategies and action plans aligned with overall business objectives.
Prepare technical offers and quotations in accordance with customer requirements and specifications, ensuring alignment with the company’s target margins.
Identify new business opportunities and expand market share for service offerings across various segments of the energy industry.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and positioning relevant service solutions.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, contract negotiations and Service Frame Agreements renewal.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
Collaborate closely with internal departments (e.g., operations, engineering, product management) to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Manage the sales pipeline, forecast sales, and report on sales performance to senior management.
Analyze the Installed Base (IB) and develop proactive service offerings to drive business growth.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
Your background:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in service sales management, preferably within the energy, power transmission, or industrial sectors.
Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Strong understanding of service contracts, maintenance agreements, and aftermarket solutions.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing sales teams.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Fluency in Italian and English is required; additional languages are a plus.
Willingness to travel in Italy (30% of time)
