WHAT YOU WILL DO
As Guest Commerce Director, you will play a key role in shaping unforgettable onboard experiences and driving commercial success. As part of the Vessel Senior Management Team, you will combine creativity, strategy, and leadership to enhance guest engagement, generate business value through Palimpsest implementation, and bring Costa's brand promise to life throughout the guest journey.
Drive Commercial Performance & Revenue Growth
You will analyse guest trends, commercial KPIs and onboard performance, transforming insights into actions that maximise revenue, profitability and guest satisfaction.
Lead the Onboard Commercial Experience
You will coordinate and optimise the onboard programme (Palimpsest), working closely with all revenue departments to create engaging experiences that drive guest participation, commercial opportunities and business results.
Ensure Brand Excellence & Stakeholder Alignment
You will ensure all onboard commercial initiatives and communications reflect Costa’s brand standards, collaborating with shore-side teams to deliver a seamless and consistent guest experience.
Inspire People & Operational Excellence
You will lead and develop multicultural teams, fostering engagement, performance, quality and safety while ensuring the highest standards of service delivery across all onboard revenue activities.
WHO YOU ARE
Required:
- Degree in Marketing & Communication, Business Administration, Business Management or Hospitality Management
- Minimum 5 years of experience in retail, covering commercial performance, visual merchandising, team management and operational optimization
- Proven experience in revenue management, commercial strategy and KPI-driven performance
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actions
- Excellent leadership, people development and stakeholder management skills
- English proficiency at C1 level and preferably Italian
- Third language at B2 level (French, Spanish, German, Portuguese or Chinese) is mandatory
Nice to have:
- Previous onboard experience is considered a strong advantage
