The selected candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing MRP parameters within the SAP system, including minimum lot sizes, safety stock levels, lead times, and replenishment policies.
In addition, the candidate will be responsible for processing the sales forecast received from the Sales Department and translating it into a detailed forecast for each product code. They will manage, maintain, and optimize the SAP module dedicated to forecast management, monitoring deviations between customer forecasts and actual sales, and implementing the necessary corrective actions.
Main Responsibilities:

SAP MRP Parameter Management: Manage and optimize MRP parameters within the SAP system, including minimum lot sizes, safety stock levels, lead times, and replenishment policies. Ensure that parameters are properly configured to guarantee accurate planning and optimal material availability for production

Process the sales forecast received from the Sales Department and convert it into a detailed forecast for each product code.

Maintain, monitor and manage the SAP module dedicated to forecast management (most likely SAP IBP)

Demand Analysis: Monitor and analyze deviations between customer forecasts and actual sales, prepare related reports, and implement the necessary adjustments within the system

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Production, Procurement, and Logistics teams to align material planning with production schedules and customer requirements

Analyze forecast data and material performance to identify and resolve discrepancies or issues

Act as the key user and point of reference for the ERP forecasting module, supporting the implementation of improvements and system updates

Management of procurement activities for raw materials, mechanical components, and subcontracted manufacturing services

Negotiation of commercial agreements and contractual terms, including pricing, delivery schedules, and quality requirements

Identification, evaluation, and qualification of new suppliers to support business objectives and supply chain development

Monitoring and analysis of supplier performance through the definition and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure compliance with quality

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Management Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field

At least 5 years of previous experience in similar roles as a Material Planner and Demand Planner
Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of MRP systems and SAP, including planning modules (SAP IBP preferred)

Work Environment
The role operates in both an office environment and a manufacturing environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computes, phones. The individual will be required to adhere to safety policies and procedures on the manufacturing floor.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
Position type/Expected Hours of Work:
Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, with flexibility for overtime based on business needs
Travel
Occasional domestic and overseas travel may be required to support the rapid growth of the company
