About the Role
As a Junior Mechanical Engineer, you will support the development of industrial automation solutions for FlexLink customers, working on projects involving conveyor systems, industrial automation equipment, and robotic applications. Working closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams, you will contribute to machine design activities, technical documentation, assembly and testing support, and the continuous improvement of existing solutions.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and international environment while developing both technical and collaborative skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Support the design of machinery and equipment for FlexLink customers, including conveyor systems, industrial automation systems, and solutions involving industrial robots.
- Assist in the optimization of existing technical solutions and the development of new solutions under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Prepare and update technical project documentation, including drawings, bills of materials, and manuals.
- Support assembly and testing activities, contributing to the resolution of any technical issues that may arise.
- Interact with different company departments (Production, Purchasing, Quality) to ensure the proper execution of projects.
What You Need to Be Successful
Master's Degree in Engineering with a technical specialization, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related fields.
- Interest in the design and development of industrial machinery and production systems.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and automation systems.
- Familiarity with CAD design software, preferably Autodesk Inventor and/or AutoCAD.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate effectively in a technical environment.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. • Flexibility and willingness to work with colleagues and cross-functional teams in an international environment.
- Availability for occasional business travel, both within Italy and abroad.
- Curiosity and willingness to spend time on the production floor/workshop to gain a practical understanding of the machinery and solutions developed.
