System Engineer – Navigation Systems & Flight Management System (FMS):
TXT e-Tech Srl, a company of the TXT Group, is seeking candidate with proven experience in system engineering and software engineering applied to complex avionics systems, with a focus on:
Navigation Systems (TACAN, DME, VOR, etc.)
Flight Management Systems (FMS)
The selected candidate will join an integrated team working closely with a leading client in the aerospace sector, contributing to a program of strategic importance. Full-time on-site presence at the client’s headquarters is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Analysis, specification, design, and integration of navigation and FMS components
Support for the definition and traceability of requirements (DOORS or equivalent)
Contribution to certification processes in accordance with standards (DO-178C, ARP4754A, DO-254)
Preparation of technical documentation in accordance with regulatory and customer standards
Participation in design reviews, technical meetings, and direct liaison with the customer
Essential Requirements:
Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related STEM field
Experience (1–2 years) in the development of avionics systems with a focus on Navigation and FMS
In-depth knowledge of system engineering processes and safety-critical software development
Knowledge of major aviation, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi protocols
Familiarity with avionics standards: DO-178C, DO-254, ARINC 424, ARINC 661, ARP4754A
Knowledge of protocols: ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, AFDX
Proficiency with tools: MATLAB/Simulink, DOORS, Git, Jira, version control
Excellent knowledge of technical English, both written and spoken
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in flight simulation environments or integration on actual aircraft
SysML modeling for architectural design and analysis

The contract offered for this position is a permanent one, and the salary range for this position is between EUR 29.000 € and EUR 34.000 € gross per year
The grading/level will be defined during the selection process based on the candidate's profile and in accordance with the National Collective Labor Agreement (Metalworking Industry)
