As part of our continued development, we are seeking a qualified and motivated Middle School Science and High School Chemistry Teacher to join our team.
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable teacher of Middle School Science and High School Chemistry to join our team in Milan.
The successful candidate will teach Science in Middle School and Chemistry in High School, including IGCSE and A Level Chemistry, delivering engaging lessons and supporting students to achieve strong academic outcomes in a focused and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Middle School Science and High School Chemistry, including IGCSE and A Level Chemistry
- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in line with Cambridge International programmes
- Prepare students for external examinations
- Assess, monitor and report on student progress
- Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners
- Maintain high expectations for student achievement and behaviour
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to curriculum development
- Communicate effectively with parents
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including events and enrichment activities
Requirements
- Right to work in Italy
- Proven experience teaching in a middle school and/or high school setting
- Strong subject knowledge in Science and Chemistry
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
- High level of written and spoken English
Desirable
- Experience teaching IGCSE and/or A Level Chemistry (training will be provided if required)
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS or international equivalent)
- Experience working in an international school
- Familiarity with Cambridge International programmes
- Ability to teach across multiple science disciplines confidently
