Responsibilities
- Leading the development and implementation of advanced Infotainment System features/functions;
- Ensuring that the function is aligned with the overall business strategy and goals;
- Project status reporting in internal and external meetings;
- Writing Requirements and Functional Specifications;
- Interfacing with stakeholders to discuss system architecture(s) through workshops and design meetings;
- Issue tracking and defect analysis;
- Analyzing and evaluating performance to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for changes;
- Supplier steering and coordination.
Key requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the Automotive field (Tier1/OEMs);
- Knowledge of Infotainment System Architecture including hardware, software and user interfaces;
- Experience with software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall;
- Strong knowledge of at least one software programming languages, such as C, C++, Python;
- Knowledge of embedded systems and real-time operating systems;
- Experience with project management tools, such as Jira;
- Experience with GNU/Linux and Android operating systems;
- Experience with software testing methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing.
Preferential requirements
- Knowledge of operating system concepts, such as process management, memory management, file systems and power management;
- Knowledge of automotive standard protocols, such as CAN and Ethernet;
- Knowledge of security principles and best practices for securing Linux systems;
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git;
- Experience with debugging and troubleshooting complex systems;
- Knowledge of open-source software development and licensing.
Education: Master’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering or similar
Language skills: Fluent knowledge of written and spoken English is mandatory. Knowledge of Italian and German would be appreciated
Workplace: Turin (TO) with availability to travel in Italy and abroad
Compensation package
Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL)
Italian National Metalworkers’ Collective Labour Agreement.
Base Salary (RAL)
The gross annual base salary offered for this position will be no less than € 33.000
Final Compensation
The final compensation package will be determined based on the candidate’s professional experience, competencies and qualifications, and on the applicable role level, in line with the company’s internal compensation framework. The final salary may therefore be higher than the minimum amount stated above.
Variable Compensation
Eligible employees will participate in the company’s variable compensation programmes, subject to role eligibility and the applicable company policies in force at the time of employment. Details will be discussed during the recruitment process.
