A Production Operator (Operatore di Produzione) is responsible for operating machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing process to produce high-quality products safely and efficiently. The role involves following production schedules, monitoring machine performance, and ensuring that all products meet company quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment.
- Assemble products or components according to production specifications.
- Perform routine quality inspections and report any defects or irregularities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow company health and safety regulations at all times.
- Load raw materials and remove finished products from production lines.
- Record production data and complete required documentation accurately.
- Assist with machine setup, cleaning, and basic maintenance.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to achieve daily production targets.
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is an advantage but not always required.
- Ability to work in shifts, including nights or weekends if necessary.
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and lift materials when required.
