This role has the responsibility of tactical and operational purchasing processes, including assurance of transactional requirements. The Buyer, Regional Category serves as a contact window for suppliers based in region and is also responsible for daily operational tasks like supply issues, RFQ execution, etc.
Your Experience and Qualifications
Leverage supplier process knowledge for contract negotiations and continuous improvement opportunities. Understand risk factors (currency, shipping costs, single source dependency, supplier ownership) and incorporation of counter activities - Ensure a comprehensive TCO that includes reliability, maintenance, operating, energy, transportation, and insurance costs across region
Monitoring the supply market to spot new opportunities (BCC, technologies/materials, multiple suppliers, etc.)
You will work in Hybrid mode 4 days Onsite and 1 day as remote from our Breganze site.
