Under direct supervision, and working with team experts, as our Power Distribution Certification Engineer , you will work in an international team and you will manage the execution of projects within Power Segments (circuit protection, wiring devices, electrical distribution) to ensure that the certification projects are delivered on time and with the best quality and experience for our clients.
Handling certification projects for products belonging to Wiring Devices (e.g., Connectors, Terminal Blocks, Cable Trays, Conduits, etc.) and to Circuit Protection (e.g. Circuit Breakers, Fuses, Surge protectors, Filters, etc).
- Examines samples for compliance with UL requirements and notifies client of any areas in which the product is not in compliance or of any changes in project scope or specifications.
- Determines project scope, develops a preliminary plan of investigation.
- Establishes appropriate test programs by reviewing files and manufacturer's information, examining samples, and applying UL requirements.
- Assists in resolving engineering issues related to safety, quality, capability, capacity, speed or cost. Learns to analyze and report on the acceptability of the variations.
- Preparing datasheets, test instructions, and descriptive reports.
- Communicates with clients to discuss results, completion date etc., and explains UL procedures and requirements. Projects may include travel to conduct or witness tests at client sites.
Communicates project status and results to clients through frequent contact and by preparing reports.
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, preferred. Master degree or bachelor (fresh graduated as well).
- As alternative, high school degree and minimum of 3 – 5 years of related work experience, with knowledge about electrical industrial products.
- Passionate about energy distribution, testing of power products and seeing new technologies as a motivating challenge.
- Experienced with the utilization of Electrical Test Equipment. Experience with Testing and Certification services would be a strong asset.
- Written and verbal English language skills.
Excellent communication skills and strong client focus.

What we offer:
We understand that remuneration and benefits are important when deciding on your next career move. The annual salary range for this position is 30.900 - 41.100 EUR gross, determined by numerous factors, including knowledge, skills, and experience. This position also offers an annual bonus of up to 5% of annual salary. We also offer 21 vacation days, lunch voucher (10€ per working day),Voluntary Individual Pension Plan, Fiscal Assistance, access to the ULS University learning platform to support your development and learning, two additional days off for volunteering, and flexible working to support your work-life balance.
Please note that the stated salary range applies to Italy only. For all other locations, compensation will be aligned with the corresponding country-specific salary range
