As Plant Quality Specialist, you will lead a shift-based team to ensure product compliance with Food Safety and Quality standards within the Production Unit, covering all stages from raw material reception through processing and finished product maturation.
Your scope will include (but will not be limited to) all Quality and Food Safety aspects defined in the Product Food Safety & Quality Specification, including CCPs, oPRPs and CPs, as well as the prevention of microbiological and chemical-physical contamination, quality defects, and compliance with legal, packaging and organoleptic requirements.
Together with your team, you will oversee the execution of Food Safety and Quality self-checks within the Production Unit, ensure accurate recording of relevant data, and manage the issuance and updating of Food Safety & Quality control instructions.
You will coordinate the internal traceability team, ensuring robust and up-to-date capabilities to trace non-conforming products throughout the supply chain and back to the relevant raw materials and packaging.
The role also involves carrying out checks through extraordinary finished-goods sampling and periodic audits in accordance with Military Standards.
Your team will play a key role in reinforcing Food Safety and Quality standards by providing training and ongoing support to Production Unit workers.
In addition, you will manage consumer complaints related to manufactured products, leading internal investigations and defining root cause analyses (RCA) and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans for the plant.
Finally, you will lead the internal organoleptic panel, organizing periodic tasting sessions for finished products, semi-finished products and raw materials.
