We are looking for a Business Data Analyst who can connect business needs with reliable data analysis. You will work with internal teams and clients to identify performance trends, improve reporting processes and support informed decision making.
This is not a role focused only on producing spreadsheets. You will be expected to understand why the data matters, explain what it means and recommend the next practical step.

Key Responsibilities:
Business Reporting:
Prepare and maintain weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reports covering operational, commercial and customer related metrics.
Data Analysis:
Review large datasets to identify patterns, performance gaps, risks and opportunities for improvement.
Dashboard Development:
Create and update dashboards in Power BI or similar reporting platforms, ensuring that information is accurate, clear and easy to understand.
Requirements Gathering:
Meet with internal departments and clients to understand reporting needs, business challenges and key performance indicators.
Data Quality:
Check the accuracy and completeness of information collected from different systems. Investigate inconsistencies and coordinate corrections with the relevant teams.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to simplify manual reporting, improve data collection and automate recurring analytical tasks.
Business Recommendations:
Translate analytical findings into practical recommendations that support revenue growth, cost control, service quality and operational efficiency.
Stakeholder Communication:
Present findings to managers, project teams and clients using clear language and well structured visual reports.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
At least 3 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, management reporting, business intelligence or a similar analytical role.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, lookup functions, formulas and data cleaning tools.
Experience with Power BI, Tableau or another data visualisation platform is highly desirable.
Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases is preferred.
Analytical Ability:
You can interpret complex information, identify meaningful trends and explain how the findings affect business performance.
Communication Skills:
You are comfortable presenting analytical results to both technical and non technical stakeholders.
Language Skills:
Italian at professional working proficiency is required. English at B2 level or higher is preferred for documentation and communication with international clients.
Education:
A degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Data Analytics, Information Systems or a related field is preferred.

You are organised, curious and detail oriented. You ask the right questions, verify information before presenting it and focus on producing analysis that leads to practical action.
