Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations and ensure the accuracy of our books. You will play a critical role in preparing financial reports, performing reconciliations, and supporting strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & General Ledger:
- Prepare and maintain accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes efficiently.
- Record journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
- Ensure all transactions comply with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
Reconciliations:
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
- Oversee accounts payable (processing invoices, vendor management, payment runs).
- Oversee accounts receivable (invoicing clients, collections, cash application).

Budgeting & Analysis:
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Analyze financial data and provide variance analysis (Budget vs. Actual).
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
Compliance & Auditing:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Assist with internal and external audits by preparing audit schedules and providing documentation.
- Prepare and file sales tax, VAT, and other regulatory returns.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification is highly preferred (or actively pursuing).
Experience:
- ☑ years of experience in a similar accounting role.
