Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Computer Technician to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to computer system users. Your primary duties will involve answering questions, diagnosing problems, and resolving issues for clients in person, via telephone, or electronically. You will also assist with the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, electronic mail, and operating systems .
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide first and second-level support for hardware, software, and network issues. Diagnose and resolve technical problems through remote or on-site support .
- Hardware & Software Installation: Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment. Set up equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software .
- System Monitoring & Maintenance: Oversee the daily performance of computer systems and networks. Perform routine maintenance, updates, and security patching .
- User Account Management: Set up user accounts, passwords, and access permissions, utilizing tools such as Active Directory .
- Documentation: Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems, remedial actions taken, and installation activities using a help desk ticketing system .
- Training & Support: Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation and train users on basic software and hardware usage .
- Escalation: Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or senior technicians for service .
Required Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience) .
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or technical troubleshooting is preferred .
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of Windows, macOS, and common operating systems .
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS) .
- Experience with computer hardware components (CPU, RAM, storage) and peripherals .
- Proficiency with remote support tools and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk) .
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills .
- Strong verbal and written communication skills .
- Ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users .
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications, or equivalent .
- Experience: Experience in a technical call center or high-pressure environment .
- Knowledge: Familiarity with ITIL frameworks, cloud platforms (Google Workspace, AWS), and system monitoring software .

Pay: €760.77 - €2,227.92 per month
