The Store Manager is responsible for achieving store sales targets, maximizing profit through effective staff management, and implementing company programs, policies, and procedures.He/she ensures a proactive approach to business needs and trends; acts as a positive role model for store staff, representing and supporting the Brand and its values. He/she is responsible for the continuous improvement and development of the team's skills and for driving sales growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Sales Management
1.1. Ensure supervision and management of sales activities in line with qualitative and quantitative objectives.
1.2. Ensure analysis of product sales data and manage daily and periodic reporting activities to members of Corporate Management.
1.3. Optimize store results and economic performance through constant monitoring.
1.4. Supervise the warehouse and related product stock movements.
1.5. Ensure protection of company assets through merchandise checks. Hold store staff accountable for inventory control and following company directives and procedures.
1.6. Ensure compliance with company directives to guarantee personnel safety and safeguard company assets.
1.7. Ensure proper maintenance and preservation of all mandatory documentation according to legal requirements.
1.8. Ensure the store is clean and well-organized to enable proper execution of activities and a comfortable shopping experience.
1.9. Responsible for all cash desk activities, cash management, and accuracy of daily and monthly reports, and ensure that subordinates perform these operations correctly, each within their own competencies and delegations. Verify at least daily the cash amounts temporarily deposited in the store safe; delegated to make daily deposits of said amounts at the partner bank.
2. Personnel Management
2.1. Ensure the recruiting and human resource development processes for the store in compliance with defined company policies and in coordination with Corporate Management and HR.
2.2. Ensure training for all newly hired staff on role-related responsibilities, including company history, customer service, product knowledge, and store operations.
2.3. Identify strengths and development areas of store staff, as well as encourage and stimulate professional development.
2.4. Establish and maintain a professional, positive, sales-oriented work climate and a culture open to feedback.
2.5. Organize and lead regular store meetings to communicate goals, priorities, and other store-related topics.
2.6. Ensure coordination of sales force activities (shift scheduling, working hours).
3. Visual Merchandising
3.1. Control visual display standards and ensure all Visual Merchandising directives (criteria and quantities) are effectively implemented, ensuring product presentation is maintained according to HQ standards and instructions, and that all commercial needs of the store are met.
3.2. Ensure ongoing updates and training for all store staff.
3.3. Manage the merchandise categories of slow sellers.
REQUIREMENTS
1.Proven experience as a Store Manager or Store Director in the retail sector, preferably in fashion, luxury, or consumer goods.
2.Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate, develop, and retain a sales team.
3.Good command of English, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with corporate management, HQ, and international stakeholders.
4.Solid analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data, manage budgets, and drive profitability.
5.Result-oriented mindset, capable of working under pressure and meeting or exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced retail environment.
