We are seeking a motivated SAP EWM Consultant (m/f/d) to join our Business Applications team.
Please note: depending on the location of the candidate, we are open to filling this position on our locations in Italy (Riese Pio X or Padua) or Slovenia (Grosuplje).
Your Tasks & Responsibilities
In this role, you will support the design, implementation, rollout, and optimization of SAP Extended Warehouse Management processes within SAP S/4HANA and integrated application landscapes. You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, external partners, and international project teams to translate warehouse and logistics requirements into effective SAP EWM solutions and contribute to successful transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, configure, and support SAP EWM processes in SAP S/4HANA, including inbound and outbound logistics, warehouse task and order management, goods movements, physical inventory, packing, staging, and warehouse monitoring.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, process designs, and SAP EWM configuration concepts.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, external vendors, and system integrators to deliver end-to-end SAP EWM solutions.
- Support SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, rollout, and optimization activities with a focus on Extended Warehouse Management.
- Coordinate and execute unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing for SAP EWM processes and interfaces.
- Prepare documentation, training materials, process descriptions, and solution handover documents.
- Support organizational change management, user adoption, and key-user enablement related to SAP EWM solutions.
- Analyze and resolve incidents, defects, and process issues in cooperation with business users and technical teams.
- Ensure compliance with company governance, SAP standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
Your Profile
Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Approximately 5 years of professional experience as an SAP EWM Consultant or in a comparable SAP functional consulting role, with a focus on SAP S/4HANA and enterprise-wide manufacturing (EMW) environments.

Solid hands-on experience with SAP EWM configuration and end-to-end warehouse management processes, including logistics, production supply, distribution, and service flows. Experience in SAP implementation, rollout, migration, support, or process optimization projects is required.

Demonstrated ability to read, analyze, and specify SAP ABAP developments, support debugging with developers, and validate technical solutions against functional requirements. Practical experience with enhancements, reports, interfaces, forms, user exits, or BAdIs is an advantage.

Good understanding of integration with SAP MM, PP, QM, FI/CO, TM, and related logistics applications. Experience in manufacturing, industrial, medical products, or international logistics and service environments is preferred.

SAP S/4HANA project experience, SAP EWM or S/4HANA certification, SAP Activate knowledge, and experience working in international, cross-functional environments are advantageous.
Skills & Competencies-
Strong functional knowledge of SAP EWM processes, customizing, master data, warehouse structures, inbound and outbound logistics, warehouse task management, physical inventory, RF/mobile processes, and end-to-end warehouse scenarios.

Ability to understand EMW requirements and translate them into robust SAP EWM concepts integrated with logistics, production, finance, and service processes.

Solid SAP ABAP affinity, including creating functional specifications, reviewing technical concepts, supporting debugging analysis, and coordinating with ABAP developers.

Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA and integration with SAP and non-SAP systems, including interfaces, enhancements, forms, reports, user exits, and BAdIs.

Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into practical, standardized SAP solutions aligned with SAP best practices.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with business users, technical teams, developers, and external partners.

Fluent English is required. Italian is optional, and German is an advantage.
