PURPOSE OF THE JOB
This is a sales position where the individual is responsible for servicing the current customer base, increasing sales within that base and establishing new accounts.
S/he will be responsible for effectively dealing with customer complaints and recommending consignment in accounts where necessary.
This position required also to attend EP procedures, with ESI equipment, to develop customers in using our technology.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Achieve sales quota per plan by servicing the current customer base, increasing the sales volume to that base and establishing new accounts.
Provide consistent and accurate sales forecast by Accounts to the Sales Manager
Keep predefined ASP and discuss deviation from floor price in advance with the DM
Support procedures, ensure the best education level for FTEs, implement strategies in order to support customer procedural work-flow.
Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, etc.
Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Have authority to make sales commitments for assigned efforts and is accountable for results. May provide substantial input to division-wide sales standards, practices, procedures and policies. Prepares important tenders.
Implement comprehensive sales plans to ensure increased market penetration and establishing of new accounts. Plan own territory or account approach and manage own resources.
Analyze sales statistics; prepare reports; and perform required administrative sales duties, e.g., filing expense account reports, scheduling appointments and making travel plans.
Maintain business operations in accordance with corporate policies in respect to pricing, quotes, credit terms, expense reporting and Quality guidelines.
Follow and share the best practices guidelines before and after the sales call.
Maintain thorough knowledge/awareness of competition products.
Act as Company ambassador at all times i.e. to represent the Company in a professional manner and with highest integrity as the prime contact with facilities, physicians and patients.
Ensure all Abbott standing Quality Procedures are followed
